  • Sports Hall Athletics – February 2018
    Over the past few weeks a group of year 6 and 5 students have been working with our PE Leader, Mr Bird along with our new sports apprentice Mr Elwell and local School Games organiser, Hollie Williams to perfect a variety of disciplines within athletics.
  • Archery- March 2018
    Over the course of the past few weeks the school have employed a coach from Central Coaching to come into school and teach archery as an afterschool club.
  • Archery Team
    The Castle Bromwich Archery team represented North Solihull today at the Coventry, Solihull & Warwickshire School Games at North Solihull Sports Centre.
  • Cheer Squad
    Mrs Spry and Miss Bales are so incredibly proud of the CBJS Cheer Squad 2017/18 with what they have accomplished this year.
  • Green Day 15.03.18
    CBJS investigated water for Green day this year. As a school we explored various ways that we currently waste water, how it could be saved and why we should try to reduce our water consumption.
  • Emergency Evacuation
    The email that was sent into school today has been assessed by the police as not a credible threat. Whilst the police are trying to find the email source, there is not a threat to the school. School will be open as usual tomorrow 20/03/2018.
  • School Closure 02.03.2018
    Due to adverse weather conditions and potential risk to staff and families travelling to school - regrettably school will be closed tomorrow. We have tried to give families as much notice as possible so arrangements can be made.
  • Wellbeing Evening
    You are invited to join us for a Wellbeing Information evening. The focus will be on sharing information about how best to support children’s wellbeing at school and at home. Refreshments will be provided.
  • EFL Kids Cup First Round
    CBJS football team put in a fantastic performance on 17th January 2018 at BCFC’s training ground where they played in the first phase of the EFL Kids Cup.
  • Pantomime - Aladdin
    All children and staff at CBJS thoroughly enjoyed the annual pantomime at CBJS on Monday afternoon.
