CBJS investigated water for Green day this year. As a school we explored various ways that we currently waste water, how it could be saved and why we should try to reduce our water consumption.
We completed a water audit for homework to help us to reflect this, enjoyed a fabulous assembly from Severn Trent, wore something blue to raise awareness of water and completed various activities in our classrooms. Year 3 and 4 created water games to educate others on how we waste water and how we can save it and year 5 and 6 created their own campaigns to encourage others to save water and to express why we need to do this. All the year groups were very creative and had a fantastic day!
