This week Year 4 children have visited Chedworth Roman Villa. The children walk around the remains of the villa and see what life was like first hand for the Romans of the time.
Year 4 went to Chedworth Roman Villa. During their visit they were able to see what life was like for a rich Roman family. They were also able to experience life as a servant for the family. They undertook activities such as; medicine making and role play. The children also looked at some of the real artefacts that were found at the Villa. They were able to handle them and discuss what they told us about the Romans. The children also really enjoyed the tour of the Villa, where they saw the bath house, dining room, kitchen, boiler room, water shrine and latrines! We really enjoyed our visit there!
